Ahoy there Tugboaters,

I just popped back in to say I was really happy with the Selkie Rescue demo - I downloaded it awhile back and just had a chance to test it over the weekend.

Good stuff, it found the files and now you will see me on your customer list shortly.

Love the logo too - she’s a hottie.

Yeah but you don’t INSTALL Selkie, that’s what bugs me. It’s a freaking BOOT CD - so it’s not installed it’s BURNEd to a CD and then you use that to start your computer.

get teh terminology right people.

Ok, you actually understand the product!

It’s true that Selkie Rescue Data Recovery lives on a bootable CD, not on your computer. If your computer is dead, what’s the point of having software installed?

That’s one reason why Selkie Rescue is better than a lot of the other software recovery programs; you don’t need a pre-install and you can use it when your computer is dead and you have to get your files out of it right away.

There are some files that install on the computer you download the files to - for example, the help files and the assorted extra documents. Selkie lives on a CD.
