Lifeboat Data Retrieval Now on Rackspace

October 10, 2005 - After very disappointing service from 1and1 server Tugboat Enterprises Ltd has moved their site to Rackspace. "We have zero tolerance for unprofessional service providers," says company President Gordon Wilson, "We provide and demand excellent service and products that work."

In late August, Tugboat Enterprises Ltd purchased a significant media buy to promote the popular and successful data recovery program Lifeboat. On September 1 the site was no longer up although stats showed record hits before the 1and1 server failed. 1and1 made no effort to return phone calls or emails for several hours. In this case the overall down time was 16 hours. Only a few weeks earlier the site had also disappeared, with no acceptable explanation and an assurance that it would not happen again.

"We were very disappointed with the service that we received from 1and1," said Technical Administrator Curt Tweedle. "They cost us a lot of money because they seemed unable to keep our site functioning. We are looking forward to much more professional service from Rackspace."

Tugboat Enterprises is a successful new start up software company with a series of programs slated for release over the next year. The management team are focused on growth and expansion. "1and1 advertises as the number one provider with a 99.9% up time. However, we lost several days of traffic and sales which pushed our product off the search engines," Tweedle adds. "This is the opposite of our expectations. 1and1's customer service was terrible and they had no answer or easy fix for us when our site was at a very high demand."

Tugboat Enterprises has had an excellent response from Rackspace and is impressed with their products and services. Tugboat looks forward to continued growth and uninterrupted presentation of programs.
